yes! chat transcript, attendance lists, duration of meeting, who joined from Skype vs PSTN, etc.. This would be very helpful.

You can pull the Broadcast meeting report from broadcast.skype.com. The Q&A and video recording are also available there.

It's not a perfect solution but you can use OneNote to track attendees. See here: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/lync/2012/09/19/taking-meeting-notes-in-lync-2013/

BTW, I've used Skype Broadcast and it provides very detailed metrics on attendees. It reports on who joined, when they joined, and even when they dropped off. So this is something Microsoft is aware we would like to see.

I have heard nothing for normal Skype "meetings" but detailed user reports are available in Broadcast.

This is apparently the answer to P-chat in Skype: http://news.microsoft.com/november-2016-event/#news

agreed. this is a feature our helpdesk needs. Having this in 365 Groups is not useful to us at all.

The audio codec is the exact same (SILK) on both consumer and Skype Biz. The best thing you can do for your quality (voice / video / and content) is to implement QoS across your network. Even though we are 100% 365, we implemented QoS and our call quality and dropped calls significantly improved. The difference is night-n-day. You will need to work with your network on team on this, but everyone will be happier. Look up DSCP tagging for lync.exe.

IF you right-click on the highlighted message, you have an option to "copy" or "copy message"

Harry, change your layout from "presenter" to "content." It's the icon next to the smiley face in this screenshot. http://www.interlinked.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Skype-for-business02.png

Jeff, in 2016 you can view in fullscreen. I thought you could in 2015 also. Click the double-arrow in the title bar. See this screenshot. You just can't make it default. http://www.interlinked.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Skype-for-business02.png

There is a new web app coming first half of this year. It won't be a plug-in, but it will be native in a browser. This uses a standard called WebRTC and will require a browser that supports it: IE11/Edge/newer versions of FF&Chrome. I don't know what it will look like or how it will utilize real-estate.

Maybe the experience for screen sharing is different. I just participated in a screenshare session and took it to fullscreen. The content took up the entire width of my screen and the SfB controls disappeared. They didn't float but were hidden and became visible again when I took my mouse to the lower portion of my screen. This is the 2016 client. It's still not a perfect experience.

In 2016, each participant can elect to take the presentation to full screen by clicking the button next to minimize in the upper-right corner. Here is an screenshot: https://cdn1.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/kQRxR_sUESrbcqRdOSnFcn5beqI=/cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/3508058/Skype-for-Business-Get-Ready-1.0.png

It's still not a great solution:
      1. Most users don't notice the tiny button in the corner.
      2. The presenter or organizer or admin cannot make a meeting default to fullscreen. It is up to the end user each time.

I see there is now a number for Mumbai but there needs to be a number for Hyderabad too. This is where the bulk of the tech work is done and Microsoft even has a large office there.

I'm shocked this isn't a feature. The Cisco guys in my company use this as ammo why we need to replace Skype with Jabber.

I like the idea of logging into both services from the Biz client if your admins allow it, but I don't like the idea of combining the software.
