      If you type anything into the Location field and then click on the dropdown list, it will display your previous Locations. So you can just type a single character, e.g. "A" and your dropdown list is populated.
      Obviously this is a bit convoluted, but it gets the desired results.
      That said, I agree that Microsoft should really get the dropdown to function correctly.
