      I very much support this. And not for goofing around and wasting time at work. Working for a multinational, I had countless occasions where, because of language problems, a well chosen GIF provided just the tool to convey exactly what I meant to say. I can't think of a stronger communication tool than a good, funny GIF to level the field with your partner you're communicating with. People will open up, be more relaxed and in general, have a more positive stance towards you. That one motion image sorts more effect than line after line of text so it's efficient too. No brainer, really.

      Or just allow using GIF's so we can have a laugh every now and then during the workday. Nothing helps you connect to people like making them laugh and a nice gif is like an explosion of fun movement and color to break up the lines of text in ones day. No brainer, really.
