There are numerous screen capture applications available that work independent of a single application (I recommend PicPick), and pasting of the captures into many applications is also very helpful. So, I believe having SFB improve support for pasted images is more valuable than adding this SFB specific feature. I suggest people vote for the following idea instead of this one:

Ability to send and view screenshots in the IM window without having to save, attach, open files or start a meeting.

SFB allows sending of images I have on the clipboard, but the recipient has to accept the "file" (image), which doesn't display well in place on Windows, on Mac it is even worse, I think no display in place, just an Open link.

I understand wanting to protect users from malicious files, but you should be able to handle images well and securely, which are by far the most common content sent in messaging.

Just in case someone within MS is struggling with how to specify the desired behavior, just tell them to copy it from WhatsApp (or any other chat application, they all do this already). I use WhatsApp on my phone, home pc and work pc - same chat history everywhere and always there.

      Please fix this! :)

I second the WhatsApp analogy. If I see someone hasn't read a message and an issue is urgent, I know to call or visit them.

This is sooo easy to do on cell phones (Android and Apple), it is amazing that SFB doesn't support it (yet).

I only recently started receiving unwanted calls on my work number, it makes me wonder if someone got access to a listing of Skype numbers or perhaps my company's listing. I very rarely use my work number outside the company, but a few companies (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft) have it, so my number may have been obtained through them.
