Invoke a call me at method when network quality issues are detected by client
Invoke a call me at method when network quality issues are detected by client
Invoke a call via work method when network quality issues are detected. i.e. during a conference, or 1:1, if the client detects a network quality issue, prompt the user "we notice you are having network quality issues, would you like to continue the call from a telephone?" Clicking yes invokes the call me at feature, prompts user for telephone number...the audio for the conference continues on the PSTN, bypassing the network issues that were detected.

Only record over certain sound level
Like TeamSpeak or Discord does, you should include an option to only record the voice from microphone if the sound level exceeds a certain level. So that Sykpe is not recording everything and transmitts it to the call. Which in our case results in very noisy calls with keyboard strokes and general office sounds in the background all the time.

Should have the delivered and read time in skype for the conversation.
If the delivered and read time is shown, people could easily manage to get rid of the tension if the message was delivered or not.

Help - the call-in numbers are not working!
I was trying to host a meeting this morning, and no one could enter the call. The phones all cut off after 30 sec to a minute. Didn't hear anything.
Have another call in 30 minutes, and no other way to contact you to help fix the problem!2 votes -

There should be a set of Skype for Business servers in South Africa because the free Skype has better quality due to server location.
The Skype for Business servers like Office 365 and CRM Online for South Africans appear to be in the Netherlands versus free or personal Skype appears to be local because the quality of the free product is superior. It does not make sense that paying customers quality is less then free services. When will Microsoft establish Office 365, CRM & Skype for Business servers in South Africa?

Call quality dashboard
Would be great if the output from the Call Quality dashboard summary statistics could be downloaded - currently this available for the detailed reports (which for some reason only shows a summary of the calls, and the summary view has all the details - maybe good to sort that out too)

Just get the connection work!
What a nightmare: 10+ people on skype call (15th Feb 10-11:30CET) from different locations. In VDN connection between poor to non-existing, even though on cable and no picture. Also BIR dropped off several times and all other locations struggled. Really, extremely frustrating as this is a reoccuring thing and makes our lives inefficient.

Better audio hardware
1) It'd be great to have broadcast quality audio, similar to IP-DTL (IP Down The Line).
2) Most of this issue is rooted in the heterogeneous hardware environment that a SFB conference has to deal with; echoey boardrooms, table microphones that pick up every thump, bad laptop mics, etc.
3) For common / shared spaces, active echo cancellation and beam-forming microphones might help focus on speakers
4) Discourage the use of traditional conference room table mics as they pick up a tremendous amount of physical noise from participants
5) Encourage the development/use of individual user mics that reject / isolate…1 vote -

Highlight Active Speakers
Similar to the Adobe Connect Pro Feature, this would allow participants to know who is speaking in a large group.
