    1. Phone numbers

      Work, mobile, home, office phone differentiation is not intuitive. You should write the difference next to phone number. or via a mandatory popup. problemas get serious for developers and configurers of 365

    4. Allow Delegates to alter the call forward settings for their manager.

      Secretaries and PA's commonly need to change the call forward settings for their managers phone.

      Allowing them to do this from their own client would be really helpful.

    5. List qualified services that support early progress

      We've been provider hunting and have continually run into providers that are lync certified but do NOT support an early progress as required after cu4. Could providers be broken out into two groups, those that require an SBC for proper lync support and those that support direct connection to mediation servers

    7. POTS connection for everyone similar to what MSFT FTEs enjoy

      Not just "Enterprise Voice"... Just get everyone an IP phone number and hook it all up so it interops to the phone companies already. This would be VERY useful as long as it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

    9. Ability to preview the caller ID for Call Pickup Group members

      This is a very common feature of traditional PBX: the ability for a Call Pickup Group member to see who is calling and than choose to pickup the call or not.

      At this moment if a user is member of a Call Pickup Group there is no way to preview the caller ID.

      Every of our customers ask for this feature.

    10. Automatically handle a call when two people call each other at the same time

      How often do you start with IM and say 'Call?' and then you both call each other and end up getting annoying busy/voice mail... given two SIP calls... why not let S4B server figure that out and choose the optimal route allowing one through and dropping the other so the call is successful first time.. perhaps least cost based or some other rule.. would save minutes each day in lost time

      Have the RGS service part of the SBS. Gives branch sites local hunt groups instead of sending those calls to FE servers across the WAN.

    12. Call forwarding default timeout as a Global Option

      At this moment the default 20sec timeout for call forwarding could be managed by users or via SEFAUtil.

      I think could be more practice if this (and some other call forwarding option) became Global Option, managed by a new Policy. The administrator could set it for all, or for some Group of users, could set it mandatory or not and so on....

      Lync Phone Edition had its flaws but the idea is great. A first party range of phones optimised and designed for Skype for Business. Yes I said range. Why have one when 3 is better. Basic, mid and exec. As much as I think headsets are the future, handsets are still very much requested. 3PIP phones are starting to get good, but they are far from perfect. Why have something that also works with S4B when something designed for it is better. Just do yourselves a favour and over spec the hardware. They have to be more than perfect to…

    15. Add support for shared line appearances

      This is a very common scenario on a traditional PBX.

      A team of users can see the status of each others calls, and if one member places a call on Hold anyone else in the team can see their call is on hold and pickup the call with a single button press.

      This is different from call park. Call park doesn't give everyone in the team visibility that there is a call on hold ready to be picked-up.

    16. Allow delegate calls to overflow to the delegates team call group

      Although delegate calls will overflow to a single number today, this is of limited use. Allowing these delegate calls to overflow to a team call group is much more useful.

      On a Lync to Lync call, if the callee is "on a call" there should be an option to ring the user once their status is changed back to available.

      Allow multiple E9-1-1 dial numbers and masks in location policies. It is common user behavior in EMEA for users to dial different codes to reach different emergency services.

    20. Allow call pickup over delegates

      Remove the limitations for call pickup when you have delegates or team ringing.

      in a scenario like boss/admin, when the assistant goes out, another person can't take the call because call pickup don't work when you have a delegate.
