    1. Have the option to choose between Web Auth + Token or the option to use Apps Password with Skype for Business when MFA is enabled/enforced.

Some versions of Skype for Business prompt authentication using web credentials popup and phone verification when MFA is enabled/enforced. Other versions of Skype for Business require apps password. I would like to have option to choose which method I prefer either in registry edit or in the MFA preferences. Right now I am unable to choose between using Web authentication + Phone or only using Apps password.

    3. Automatically recognize that password is changed

Passwords change every 3 months. But you have to delete saved login info before it asks me for password. All other apps, ms and 3rd party, automatically know that password is invalid and ask for a new one. Why can't skype to this?

    4. Add a "DisableIM" attribute to the Skype for Business Client Policy

Within the SFB Client Policies, add an attribute called "DisableIM." When set to True, any user set with that policy will be unable to instant message from the SFB client application or SFB mobile application.

Our company has a small subset of users who are under special Legal compliance rules, preventing them from being licensed for SFB and using instant messaging. We are now moving to SFB PSTN calling, which for these compliance users, PSTN calling would be unavailable to them. Simply allowing us to control IM capabilities through client policy would help solve this.

    5. Replace 1024 bit ssl certificate with an 2048 bit one

Currently every Skype for Business front server has an SQL Express installed which is managed direclty by Skype for Business and the required plugins. So its not supported to change anything related to the SQL Express installation. However this installation used an selfsigned 1024 bit SSL certificate (which is weak) so Microsoft should make sure that a 2048 bit one is used in the future here.

    6. Need Skype for Business Spam Controls

We have started to get unsolicited IMs from other Office 365 tenants trying to make sales contacts. Furthermore, other Office 365 tenants can search for and see our users and their status (if they have their email addresses) We need a way to prevent external Office 365 tenants from getting availability information and making IM contact with our employees without first establishing a relationship (such as adding each other to their contacts lists).

This is already in place for communications between Skype for Business and those using regular Skype. Now we need it to be between Internal and External Skype…

    8. Configure MFA Certificate/Token expiry

By default MFA certificates/tokens expire 24 hours after login.

This means that SfB capable handsets will need to be re-authenticated 24 hours later.

This can appear to be random to users.

There should be a system setting that allows admins to set tokens to expire at the end of the same day, at a custom time every day or at a user defined time (less than 24 hours).

    9. Ethical Wall in Skype for Business Online

We would like to see an ethical wall for Skype for Business online. We would like the ability to restrict users from IMing certain users directly.

    10. You can accidentally type your password on the chat window.

Because Skype steals the cursor from other windows I have typed my password on the chat window. Someone could do this without realizing what they did. I typed it less than a second and had pressed enter only to see it pop up on the chat window in my dismay.

    11. Fatal security issue

The Skype used different Skype account when chatted! Account details were pointed to me, but name and email address were different (pointed to other person). I was logged in to my OWN Skype account. Very MAJOR problem. Please check!

    16. Support Azure Information Protection

Make option in presentation with S4B meetings, that if content is presented by someone, that is protected by AIP and is confidential to some group, look to attendees and display some notification if data leak can occur or dim display information to such users.

    18. Group permissions

Add the ability for IT/IR administration to set group level permissions for chats. Example an organization that has to abide by federal compliance has to turn-off chat history for the entire organization, although not all departments are restricted. So unfortunately a department that uses chat as its primary source must rely on Google Hangouts to keep chat history.

    19. text encryption

Ability to highlight a piece of text encrypt it before sending, a recipient then decrypts with a shared password. This would be useful for sharing passwords, ip addresses etc. Currently I am using notepadd++ with the NppCrypt plugin to provide this capability.

    20. make the colour of the messages 2 completely different to each other (I.E. green and blue or pink and purple)

have the colours of you messages a completely different colour to the person your talking to; so, instead of having light blue and dark blue you could have green and blue or pink and purple, making it easier to see who's messages are who's
