    1. Phone Number Normalization Rule

      Add support for Phone Number Normalization of non contiguous blocks of DIDs. We own two separate blocks of DIDs and we cannot normalize to 4 digit dial because the prefixes are different. We are forced to change to 7 digit dialing normalization.

    2. Make SkypeOnline PowerShell Module installable through PowerShellGallery.com instead of/in addition to a stand-alone installer.

      All PowerShell Modules should be available and installable through PowerShellGallery.com. This has been the standard way of obtaining PowerShell modules since PowerShellGet was introduced in PowerShell 5.0 in 2014. To my knowledge the SkypeOnline PowerShell module can only be installed through a .exe file, which does not fit into the current model of managing PowerShell modules.

    5. Need ability to see what the away and inactive presence timeout values are currently set to by all my Skype for Business users

      Our managers need to know what these values are currently set to for their direct reports. Since we are a decentralized company the presence indicator helps managers see whether their employees are away or inactive for long periods of time. If the direct report has their inactive or away timeouts set for long periods of time it gives the false impression that the employee is actually working when they may actually be inactive or away from their desks.

      Commands Get-CsUCPhoneConfiguration and Set-CsUCPhoneConfiguration are documented for on-premise but not cloud. They seem to work with both. Parameter EnforcePhoneLock is useful.

    7. emable cmdlet EnableVOIPCallDefault to SfB Online

      On SfB Server, we are able to set-csclientpolicy to make "skype call" the default action when clicking the call button using the EnableVOIPCallDefault parameter. According to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/skype/set-csclientpolicy?view=skype-ps this is not applicable to Skype for Business Online. Not having Skype Call as the default action causes my users that want to contact their colleagues to make PSTN calls instead that cost us money!

      Skype CQD portal, when under Detailed reports you cannot switch to location enhanced or reliability reports. Have to go back to summary reports and then select the desired report.

    12. Federated members of DL's presence wont reflect in Skype for Business Contacts

      I recently noticed that and it is a design bug from Microsoft Skype for Business application---Distribution Lists contains federated external contacts as members. When we add such DL's in Skype for Business and never shows their Presence. While internal domain users members presence appears as expected.

    13. There is atleast 2 days difference for the data to be available in CQD. Is there a plan to reduce the timeline?

      Timeline to reduce the data availability in CQD is more than 48 hours. It's difficult to monitor the behavior as we need to wait for two days for the affect to be visible in CQD Reports.
      For example, audio performance improvement by changing inhouse wifi's SSID settings made on 17th Dec and I am still waiting for 18th Dec report to be made available.

    14. Need the option to port an (existing) number (into Skype) as a Service OR User number.

      The existing Port Order wizard in Skype for Business (https://admin1a.online.lync.com/LSCP/PortOrderNew/NewPortOrderWizard) needs an option to specify if the incoming number should be a User OR Service number.

    15. Create Ring Groups in which the calls will go in a random order, rather than alphabetical within the ring group

      I got a request to setup a call queue with members answering the calls in a requested order which doesn't really fit well with the alphabetical order which is imposed by the AAD for Distribution Groups.
      Members of the Ring Group (Distribution Group) are answering calls alphabetically, whereas the request is for the calls to ring in a different order.

    16. Response Group workflow → audio files for each holiday

      Currently, the admin console for setting up holiday audio files is limited to a single audio file per a given holiday set. It's not sensible to expect the same recording for every holiday in the year. Often, we have rather specific holiday greetings that must play to the caller. As such, I'm forced to manually change the audio file for every holiday in the year.

      Cisco UCM allows you to set an audiofile for a specific holiday. Why can't S4B server also play a set of recorded files only for specified days??! This feature is sorely missing. It's a pain…

    17. New Process of Number Porting should be documented on Skype admin center

      Currently we are submitting port order from Skype admin center and new process is not mentioned there - (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Phone-number-management-)
      Its very helpful to add this information on Skype admin center, so we can directly follow it.

    19. Modify phone numbers using PowerShell

      Using Skype Online (O365), when a user opens their S4B client, they can click on "Tools - Options - Phones" and edit the phone number information, which then displays on the contact card for that user and the reported source is Skype for Business. Administrators need a method (PowerShell maybe?) so that we can edit user phone numbers that are stored in O365 centrally. Per MS support (as of today), there is no way to modify this information without visiting the client system and manually doing it (not all workstations are domain members, GPO for this won't work for everyone).…

    20. The setting "Only users in the contact, can see my status" should be configurable on a user base, not a tenant wide setting.

      If the Tenant wide setting is that all users can see my status, then it should be possible to configure for some VIP users that only user in the contact list should be able to see my status.

      Also there should be a setting only users in my contact list are able to contact me via Skype for business.
