When Using a meeting room with a Surface Hub, sometimes the meeting is not a presentation och "creative" meeting, but more a discussion och decision meeting.

In many rooms a table is placed centrally towards the Surface Hub and either of the cameras will not cover the participants in an optimal way.
If using both cameras and with Software combining to one videostream, the picture could be centralized and have wide angle.

This could furthermore reduce the scenarios in which an external camera is needed.

This would allow you to confirm that the speaker is working and test the volume before others join so you don't blow everyone's ears out if it's super loud.

For ad hoc Skype meetings which are started from the Surface Hub, enable the ability to show and share PSTN conferencing (dial in) and meeting connection URL details. So it essentially includes all the details a user would see in a meeting scheduled via Outlook. Share details via email.

The reason for this is

A.) Nobody likes how the conversation gets deleted at random intervals and a new conversation is started.. this just separates the record into different threads which are difficult to trace.

B.) It'd be nice to select which chat room you're in, and be able to see what the official name of the room is (specified by the rooms creator)

C.) it would also be nice to be able to mute the group notifications for times other members of the team are speaking in the room but you do not want to be disturbed.

We appreciate the feature of one touch meeting join on SfB meeting devices but in certain areas it's mandatory to have the option to hide the meeting topic. This is mandatory in cases where e.g. HR is using the conference device and where we need to prevent that unauthorized third parties are getting unwanted information by checking the conference list on the device. In those cases only the person who scheduled the meeting should be display instead of having the purpose of the meeting shown as well. This could be done by marking the meeting as private.

How about in the Smart or Crestron LRS and SRS you can make a phone call to join a bridge and have the ability to present locally? Currently this cannot be done. Use case would be a online meeting (not skype) and a traditional PSTN conference bridge (again not skype). You join the call using the LRS/SRS then plug your Laptop into the HDMI to present the online meeting inside the room.

In setups with a single screen for video+content, an additional option (at least) to put participants on a bottom-of-screen with content above would be useful in instances where the content being shared is spreadsheets or similar that would benefit from a wider field of view (rather than only have the option to put participants on the right side)
