Don't generate Emoticon or Emoji for code
When typing or pasting code snippets into Skype, I often get emojis/emoticons when I don't expect them. For example, type/paste: "MyClass::Instance" and send it to someone. The :I will be replaced by a picture.
So many "ideas" posted about this over the past few years with no change. Awesome. For a business application, this is entirely unprofessional.

Or a leading character pattern that means "For this entire message, do not do substitutions." This current behavior is a real pain when trying to send lines of code to another developer or output from log files that may have their own character encodings.
In the past versions of skype this was possible by starting a message with @@
