I have to drop my work and reboot to Windows or go to conference room just to join Lync/S4B call.

Pleeeeaaaassseeeeee!! There used to be a good Skype client for Linux, now no more? Microsoft loves Linux, apparently...

I use Linux as my OS as a developer, please allow me to chat and video chat with my colleagues.

I use Windows at work and Linux at home. It would be really helpful to be able to use Skype from home to join work calls at short notice. As a workaround, I use Skype client on iOS, but small screen on phone makes it hard to see meeting content.

Win 10 has the Linux subsystem available in developer tools. Please make an official Linux S4B client or publish standards so 3rd party or open source clients can be developed.

      Please make a gtk+2.0 application.
I have made a one for my company's hardware products, and compile on a old distribution like centos 6.3, and it would work on almost all platforms.
For packaging please release rpm and debian binaries and source tarball if possible for community to port.

I feel heavily that I need skype for business in a linux environment.

Please make a Skype for Business Linux client. No one where I work uses Windows but has to talk to other companies where they do

Can't join on Ubuntu. Will need to replace meeting app for big NGO here in Sweden.. And Skype was a Swedish invention from the beginning. I guess it's all messed up these days.. :)
