Less cpu consumption, fight global warming....
Please make skype less cpu hungry for no reason. Save whales and polar bears....
CPU usage is too high when in screen sharing mode on an Intel i7-6600U CPU. This results in the cooling fan coming on.

+1 CPU usage on i5 dual core laptop is 70% when in video.
SfB (version 15.0.4751.1000) loads the CPU exessively on Windows 10. Don't know if this may be some driver issue, but since upgrading from Win 8.1 and Lync 2013 video meetings is broken on my PC. Voice meetings works (barely) but at 100% CPU usage, and other meeting participants can see my video, but my PC fails to render video from the meeting. This is definitely not a bandwidth thing (10/100Mb fiber), and the exact same hardware setup worked fine with Win8.1 and Lync 2013 so it should not be due to the machine being too weak.

And often hanging with 100% CPU when trying to remote assist by SfB desktop sharing. On Core-i5 with 16GB and 1Gbit LAN on both ends...
+1 always 15% CPU (4core, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2620M CPU @ 2.70 GHz) but doing nothing particular !
+1 and free RAM jailed without reason.
