Continous Conversation / IM Roaming across devices
Provide ability to continue conversations across multiple devices with chat/content history displayed.
Sometimes a message comes through on my phone, in which case it never appears on my PC. And vice versa.
What I can say is, that this Skype is NOT for business, at all...
My phone can't synchronize the conversations in real-time, it's very annoying. If you close the conversation, you have to search for it, so you can continue from the last message, instead to just click on the user to open the last chat.
These are the main features, and they don't work!
Please can we have this feature - very inconvenient

Please provide this feature, it is so extremely annoying that it is not already supported.
Please provide this feature! Thus is something common on all other messaging services.

During this pandemic we all atarted Work from home. some features would be better if added to skype.
1. Sync conversations across various devices. (i should be able to view the conversation in my desktop which I did on my mobile or another laptop).
2. my online available time and away time. this would help individuals to keep track on the work time on busy schedule or long breaks.
I would really like this feature!!!! Would be so much more helpful for work
Good day. I have S4B, version 16.28.175 installed on 2 Macs and also S4B on my iPhone but none of them ever sync or even show the same messages on any device.
Is this supported? I'm running the latest version of Catalina on the Macs and iOS 13.4.1 on my iPhone/S4B version- 6.26.2.
this is really disruptive not to have. Almost all similar platforms have it. why can't Skype get it done?
Please upgrade the software to have the continue conversations between the devices.
I don't see the comfort factor here, aren't you?
Microsoft is literally one of the top 5 largest companies on the planet. How is it possible that they cannot figure out this feature that Apple has had since at least 2012.
If we can synchronise contacts and contact groups, we really should be able to synchronise active chats. This should be basic stuff - Just Do It.

Sync across devices would be of great help for those who from home, using e.g. a tablet.
Is it that difficult to make this improvement?

Please upgrade and add this feature.
So lets see.... Years of votes... Over 11.300 at present... A feature which is borderline standard in any other messaging service worth its salt, most of which are not even supposed to be professional tools... And Skype still hasn't integrated this feature? I get there may be other topics to address, but isn't Skype for Business' main focus to be a message delivery system? Well, it seems to me Skype isn't delivering messages, now is it? So what does that make Skype?
I am obligated to use it since it has been adopted by corporate, but honestly, I end up using Whatsapp with my colleagues way more often.
I know that Skype will probably be phased out and probably somehow integrated into TEAMS chat feature, but come on already!!! Either get your act together and make this a messaging app, or kill it of already so my IT department can move on to something better.

What seems to be no problem for Cisco Jabber (a 3rd party application) does not work for Skype (a Microsoft product). Shame on you. I miss messages all the time which makes Skype nearly unusable for chat communication.
This is an urgently needed feature. Like other respondents I am constantly losing IM conversation threads if I have to shift between my work PC and phone. Given that Outlook (for email and calendar) syncs everything across devices via Office 365 - on whatever device you are currently looking at - there is no valid reason stopping Skype for Business from having the same functionality with its IMs and all its other functions.
Seriously? Who made this decision? He/she should be fired. I miss messages, see partial threads of important conversations and have to run over to my laptop every time I hear get a message on my phone, just to be sure I didn’t miss parts of the conversation. Do you guys even use your own software?
