Remove the need to click on "Hide Stage" to go back to larger view when no one is presenting
Remove the need to click on "Hide Stage" to go back to larger view when no one is presenting. This is especially useful when you have a meeting in meeting rooms. People are supposed to be just sit in and look at the screen of presentation and if nothing is presented, should go back to expand video to normal size. This space shouldn't be taken up by the large and useless hide stage screen and requires someone to stand up and click to close it. This hide stage serves no purpose in my opinion.
Would be great if there was better producer functionality where the person running the meeting can better control what people see. When someone stops presenting a slide deck attendees need to click "Hide stage" to get back to the video feed being the main feature. This should be automatic when using video - especially when you have locked the video on the screen of the "live" presenter.

Still no update about this !
Has there been an identified workaround for this Hide Stage issue yet?
Please implement this idea! It would definitely be a helpful resource for business meetings. It is annoying to have to keep pressing Hide Stage during a Skype call when the presenter is presenting and switching between their shared screen and webcam.
We have hide stage but how to ses stage again? Urgent and important
Seems like this has been an issue for a few years. Need the ability to set this option.
I agree with other commentators, this is highly requested.
This is a make or brake if we can use Skype for remote classroom lessons because it gives us the opportunity to toggle between PPT presentation and webcam of the teacher.

Regardless of the value of this feature, the ability to toggle this feature would also be valuable.
This feature really is very needed because when presentation is a combination of PPP and video suspending presentation to show video on full screen leaves attendees in a midlle of nowhere and attendees must be warned and trained in advance to press "Hide Stage".
Whould appreciate such new feature in SfB as soon as possible.

As a technical trainer who is currently teaching Skype for Business to my company, I find the need to manually "Hide the Stage" to be an unnecessary extra step that people have to go through. For many users, this black screen is confusing and perhaps even a bit disconcerting as it may appear to them that they have lost connectivity or "broke something."

My situation is very similar to Earnie Eng's. The quality of our meetings would improve greatly if we did not have to click this each time.

I need this feature, too, as we are trying to use already-paid-for resources to broadcast a large "town hall" meeting to some of our remote offices 6+hours drive away. We are currently using a high-end 10x Optical Zoom HD full PTZ webcam and follow the presenter(s) on stage, and periodically switch to PowerPoint view for slides that have detailed graphs and charts. When switching back from the PPT view, the stage is black with the presenter video stuck as a tiny picture-in-picture window in the corner.
It is critical when utilizing SFB in a broadcast or one-way presentation mode to be able to control the recipient's viewing experience and not require their interaction!
