Allow the Call Window to be set to compact view by default
For users where screen real estate is a premium allowing the call window to be set to compact view by default would be very useful.
Skype for Business is making business more difficult by requiring all the real estate on my computer. Please restore the compact view.
You can set it during the call, but I would rather be given a user preference that I can preconfigure for all my users. Even if we switch to using high-res photos no one wants a huge pic of their colleague taking up a third of the screen during phone calls.
when answering calls for a response group in skype for business 2016 client the call controls disappear and require delays to reinstate with speaker view is there a way o avoid this process and maintain the call controls from time of calll being answered?
Lync 2010 allowed for removing the speaker/gallery view and entering "compact" mode by default for all calls/conversations. Lync 2013 required you to make this change at some point during each call/conversation. Skype for Business has removed this option altogether.
Can I please have my screen real estate back with a minimal/compact view? I don't need to see "pictures" (which are usually generic icons in my organization anyway) of the call/conversation participants in order to participate.
or at the very least the option to set it during the call. Not sure why you would ever remove this?
