sync conversations across multiple devices

Got a similar issue and came here and found no official responses. Supporters suck. For anyone facing the same problem, my suggestion would be WhatsApp. Skype is done.

In multi-device environment this is a must. We really need to be able to either sent communication to all devices or manage the communication better.
Sometimes I missed already some communication - so for important communication I inclined to use WhatsApp instead S4B as the conversation will be handled more appropriate ... A communication should be show on all active / logged in devices ...
now we have 2018
It's actually quite ridiculous that Microsoft didn't make this a standard feature. In no universe does it make sense that if I read all of my conversations at my desk, that I should have to read them all over again on my phone and other devices!

It is very frustrating when someone pings you and you are not around. Only the first messsage arrives and rest go to the email to the so called Missed Conversations.
Do even get me started with synching this in the mobile app. It's just useless.
Hope you guys consider it and learn from other Chat apps.

This idea is a must.
Agree - this is a major problem and until fixed (together with persistent log-outs) it can't compete with iMessage, WhatsApp etc.
The state of Skype for Business is unacceptable. No syncing across devices, new conversations with a contact are not connected to past conversations with that contact, and conversations aren't searchable (can only search for contacts). This is a vastly inferior product. You have a lot of work to do, Microsoft.
Skype will continue to lose ground to Slack unless this is fixed asap!
Major product shortfall - totally useless for collaboration without this.
It's quite annoying that when I have Skype running on my mobile device, my conversations are not being saved in Outlook. Even worse, when I turn on my laptop, I do not receive new messages on my computer, rather they continue to flow to my mobile device ONLY. When logged into multiple devices, I expect to get my instant messages on ALL of the devices I'm logged in on. This is the way IM has worked on all other platforms I have used.
