Ping attendees who haven't yet joined the meeting
As a meeting organizer I find myself reaching out to meeting attendees to see why they aren't yet in the meeting. It would save me a ton of time the meeting organizer had a 'ping' button that would either send email or a private IM message to any attendee that accepted the meeting invite but has not yet joined the meeting.
I'd like the idea of having a unique tone and a toast popup, reminding them that they should be in the meeting and are being summoned by the organizer. Also popping up the chat box allowing them a quick response that they are on their way or held up otherwise.
This is a great idea! I confess it never occurred to me until I read this, but now that you've planted the seed, I really want this. This would be a real time saver and help meetings get started faster. Not just for actually getting people who missed the start to join, but also for the people who are already there if the meeting could get started without everyone -- no need to say, "Hold on, let me just send John Doe and Bob Smith and Jane Jones each a note and see if they can join," and then make everyone wait while the organizer tries to reach out to the people who couldn't make the start time.

Would be nice if you could hit a button like in teams to have Skype call everyone that was invited the meeting that was not there. This way they are auto joined to the call if they hit accept, this feature is already available in teams please port if possible. Thanks!

I don't want this. Can I downvote? I understand some people want the messages in Skype, but then please make it an option, but don't force this!

If someone didn't show up to my meeting, they'd be liable to lose their head. I'm a peaceful person, but anyone who doesn't submit to my will clearly deserves it. Instead of a "ping" button, how about a button with a little picture of a scimitar?

It sounds like you need to fire these unprofessional slackers for insubordination. I think Skype needs a YOU'RE FIRED button that deletes a person's account and sends HR to their cubicle to be escorted out of the building.
YOU THINK YOU CAN SKIP OUT ON MY MEETING AND GET AWAY WITH IT?!? I'M IMPORTANT!!!
