Allow for tabbed chat windows, instead of single window per chat on Mac.
With the new build available for Skype for Business on Mac when you open multiple chats they each get their own window which can be cumbersome. Make it optional to be able to control whether all the chats are separate or all tabbed in a single window.
I cannot agree more with the comments here. It is unbelievable that the "new, better, redesigned" Mac SFB client lacks this feature in a history-disabled environment. This is commonplace amongst organizations who are at legal risks and it essentially makes maintaining any kind of organization for this app impossible.
I run SFB in Parallels, Windows 10, because of how poor this client is. I only use the native Mac client when I need to share a screen. The worst part is the additional windows for people who you already have an open session with. Overall I can't believe this client feels like 2002 when it was just redesigned.
This is a very much needed feature. The SFB clients on all windows machine in our company has tabbed conversation feature but somehow Mac gets this clumsy and cluttered way of using it without any tabs. Also, every so often, new chat from the same person who I have been chatting with comes in a totally different window.

We need this to be available in a server-disabled archiving environment. This is vital to maintaining an organized professional workspace.

The new build allows tabbed/single window chats, but only if message archiving isn't explicitly disabled on the server. That's a ridiculous restriction. What do tabs have to do with message archiving!? Give us tabs regardless of server-side settings please!

And make it available irrespective of history settings on Lync server. It is available to those in my company using the Windows version, yet the Mac client has a restriction on it?
I had this in a previous build. Now 16.1.456 its gone?
