Stop auto-tagging users in in groups when new users first launches Skype for Business.
In Skype for Business online when new user first launches Skype for Business their contact list is automatically populated with their group contacts. These contacts are also automatically tagged for status changes. The group addition is fine. The automatically tagged for status change updates cause all kinds of confusion. I would like to see the auto-tagging of status changes removed.

Hi MS - any more on this please? I see the same issue with groups but its very 'hit n miss' - so even an official stance on this will be nice

Super annoying. I have over 60 people in my team on Skype. All I see notification now which does not add any value. I do want to track few folks but not all. This setting is backward. Complete nonsense and illogical.

Agree here. The AutoInitiateContacts option is great. The automatic tagging of these contacts for status changes, is not great. Especially for those teams that are 50+ people. Can you imagine? getting status changes for your team 6 times a second? It gets annoying, real fast!

I agree - this is completely annoying. It immediately leaves a bad taste in people's mouth about the product. Why would you want to start them out that way?
