In the fast-paced world of loan origination, it is essential to be able to send drawing to my colleagues and customers at a moment's notice. This feature was available in written correspondence using paper, pencil and the United States Postal Service and it's absence here is inexcusable. The inability to draw over the top of my written communication has been a constant pain point in the several months since our team adopted Skype for Business. How am supposed to let my subordinates know that their request for time off has been denied if I can't send them a drawing of a phallus spurting rejection all over their request? My current workaround for this involves printing out the message, then drawing on it, then folding the paper into an airplane, before finally throwing it over my cubicle wall at my coworker. But sometimes the paper airplane misses, leaving me to repeat the process, and this also doesn't accommodate my needs for communicating with clients, who are often not within striking distance of a paper airplane.
My business was much more efficient and professional before we switched to Skype.
If the United States Postal Service reduced postage costs, I know my company would switch back.
In the world of design engineering, it is essential to be able to hold a discussion with customers and suppliers and be able to draw new ideas "on the fly." This is an option for WebEx, Yahoo, among others. The inability to draw has proven very ineffective to our large customers and has led to increased meeting times and other workarounds like screen grab + powerpoint + draw in powerpoint + save + e-mail... where as if drawing could occur on the screen, everyone can draw as well as everyone can take screen captures of their own.
much more efficient business meetings before SFB took over WebEx.
If WebEx reduced licensing costs, I know I would switch back.
