    1. End-To-End HD Voice Quality

Please introduce the HD voice (G.722 codec) also for calls/conferences with non-Skype users, this would improve the speech quality a lot and help especially in cases when people try to understand a language they don't natively speak, which is a frequent scenario in today's international working environment.
Furthermore, Skype for Business very often is deployed in a network operator's infrastructure that supports end-to-end HD voice quality with G.722, why should a break-in or break-out call worsen the speech quality if better is possible? After all, G.722 is already available in Skype and free of any license costs.

    2. Voicemail in shared mailbox

It would be nice if in the Auto-Attendant function we could redirect calls toward a voicemail attached to a shared mailbox.

    3. Add Communication Credits in the CSP program

Only Domestic of Domestic+International calling is available. Some users need to call International but not on a regular basis. Communication Credits is interesting then.

    4. Rule based call forwarding

The user should be able to forward calls based on different criteria:

      • Caller number

      • Caller is in the user’s contact List

      • The presence status

      • Caller Privacy Relationship

      • Time

      • Out of office (Exchange) status

      • Etc.

The forwarded calls should be able to be transferred to the following destinations:

      • Other Lync user

      • UM voicemail

      • PSTN/mobile number

      • RGS

      • Team call group

      • Etc.

    5. reduce the 8-10 second delay a call takes to travel through the auto attendant and call queue

currently (and this has been confirmed by a SfB engineer as well) there is a delay of 8 - 10 second from the time a caller dials the number and it starts ringing on their end to the time that it actually rings on our end. This only happens when calling through the auto attendant then the call queue direct calls go through just fine. The Microsoft engineer I worked with setup his own auto attendant and call queue and the issue was the same for him as well. The main issue with this is that usually callers get impatient…

    6. Support Opus Codec

We have found that using SIP + the Opus codec allows us to have very good quality meetings in instances where SFB was unable to provide a satisfactory call quality.

If the Opus codec is not already supported, please add support. If it is, please allow us to explicitly set which codec(s) should be used.

    7. Call park in the cloud (SfB Online)

Add call park to the online service please. Workflow should be "park a call"and then orbit number is provided. Then the user that retrieves the call should press "retrieve a call" in the desktop program and they are presented with a parked call list complete with phone number, orbit number, duration of call. They can select the one they need in the desktop app or use the orbit number to retrieve. Make it as easy as possible and small businesses will flock to the product.

    8. Remove the Response Group Answer Delay

There is a delay when answering a response group call. This is most noticeable when using a Lync Phone Edition device but it present with most endpoints.

    9. Move Audio from any Endpoint to Another Seamlessly

When a call has been answered on a single endpoint, such as the mobile client, the ability to move this call seamlessly to another endpoint is difficult. There's call park, but that doesn't work with a mobile client and doesn't exist online as of this feedback. You can occasionally transfer to yourself, but this may not work if the call was sim-ringed to another device. Both of those options can be clumsy and involve a bit of apologizing to the party on the other end of the line as they may hear hold music. There are situations where the call…

    11. Office 365 Group Voice mailbox

When creating a Call Queue or Auto Attendant setup, set an option/drop down to allow the voice mails to route to an Office 365 Group, so that members of the group will be able to access the voice mails. Instead of dedicating a user (therefore spending more license) for all of the voice mails would go to.

    12. Consult then transfer

Skype for Business needs consult then transfer in the desktop client. Personally I think it should be the default behaviour. Blind transfers to humans are just rude.

    13. busy on busy

provide "busy on busy" functionality. Nobody wants to receive additional calls when already on the phone. SfB server should generate a standard compliant "486 busy here" response for incoming PSTN calls to users with presence states "on-the-phone" or "in-conference-call".

    14. Route AA or CC calls to external phone numbers

Right now, the only way to integrate an outside receptionist service with Skype for Business is to create a S4B user, install Office on a spare desktop, and configure Call Forwarding. Only after doing this three-sides-around-the-barn approach can we have an auto-attendant or call queue where the outside party can participate. For example you may want outsources receptionist services, or you may want calls that wait in the queue too long to ring a phone number that isn't in Skype for Business (like a cell or call service). We should be able to add external phone numbers to the system…

    15. Forwarding on busy

Give the opportunity to a user to forward incoming calls if it is a busy state ( first call is going on ).

This is a common PBX feature and is requested by customers that are migrating it's infrastructure from old PBX and Lync Server

    17. Sip Alias

A feature of extreme importance is the ability to have SIP aliases. As people change email aliases (Get Married, potentially job change to put in a different market which has a different public presence, or marketing changes domain names) all old aliases are instantly invalidated, with no ability to forward the legacy address etc. Need this as a feature!

    20. Monitoring Features - Silent Monitor, Whisper, Barge In

My PBX supports some basic features:

      1) Silent Monitor - Managers can listen live to agents as they talk to customers

      2) Whisper - Managers can tell agents what to say (advice or answers) without customer hearing the manager

      3) Barge In - Manager can be made audible to both agent and customer on call

These are basically expanded logic for conference calls. If these features could be added and some basic permissions added for which groups can monitor who, it'd be an excellent feature and help give parity against competing PBX platforms.
