    1. More like Yammer/Slack/HipChat Channels or Rooms

Need persistent group chats between office teams. Like Yammer Team concept, but for Skype. This encourages teamwork, friendship, community within the workplace.

It's currently cumbersome to re-start group conversations on Skype for Business.

    2. Apply a name to Group Conversation

When creating a chat with a group of users the name displays as Conversation (6 Participants) If we create several of these chats we have no way to determine what group is what and need a way to determine chat groups.

    5. group chat - history and persistance

I should be able to have history for group chats.

Also, group chats should be able to persist between conversations

    6. Power Point presenter mode when sharing of screen

When I share a Powerpoint presentation over skype I would like to have the presenter view on my screen. Like when you have extended screen option to a projector, so that yuo can see what is coming up next and that you can read your notes while presenting.

    7. slack type integration

It would be nice to have the same type of invitation, bot-api, and web gateway that slack provides but for persistent chat. For use cases I envision quickly adding external collaborators and unifying notification services into dedicated channels (jira, nagios, etc)

    8. S4B Integration into Yammer

Provide integration into Yammer from S4B. This will provide similar context to what Cisco have done with Spark. For example, within a Yammer Group, I should be able to call via S4B - either online or using my client if installed.

    11. Unify persistent chat notifications

Provide an option for persistent chat rooms to have the same type of notification settings as normal/group chats. (ie, icon flashing, tab highlighting, etc) Currently, the only two options are a small mark for unread messages or intrusive popup.

    12. Remove Outlook pop-up when opening single occurrence of repeating Skype meeting

When opening a repeating meeting (in Outlook), you are first asked whether you'd like to open the occurrence or the entire series. After selecting occurrence, you are greeted by another pop-up letting you know changes to this occurrence will not affect the Skype meeting series.
This is obvious. I already selected only the occurrence. The only purpose this serves is slowing down my opening the meeting by 1.6 seconds.

    13. Multi Party IM Chat between SFB and Regular Skype Contacts.

Allow Multi Party IM Chats between SFB Clients and Regular Skype Contacts.

For us, as large enterprise business, our IM Solutions are a balance between meeting customer requirements and adhering to government regulations.

Internally we are an Office 365 tenant and use SFB Online, however some external clients use regular Skype accounts, therefore we need to run another separate solution for clients who are not SFB users. Our current solution not only covers desktop clients but internally developed monitoring and audit functions, something which is possible by default with SFB.

In our view, having more functionality between the 2 solutions…

    15. Persistent Chat notifications

Issue: With chat room Notification alerts turned on, when you’re inside a chat room and even if it’s the active window, you will still receive notification alerts any time a user posts a message. You can be posting a chat message inside the room at that moment, and will receive notification alert pop-ups in the corner/side of the screen alerting me of a new message. This doesn’t follow the same behavior as Instant Messaging, as you won’t receive an alert if the window is active or peer to peer session is open. This has resulted in users turning off notifications,…

    17. Allow to draw like Office Communicator to send quick and efficient visuals.

Allow the ability to draw either with a mouse or a Cintiq in a different tab.
This helps with better descriptive visuals for ideas while on a meeting.

    18. Testing site for Skype For Business

You know there is a catchy parrot that confirms your devices work (mic, speaker & video) in another web conference app & the consumer Skype has a test feature. We need to get a full on test your S4B site up in the O365 so when we send out meetings, we can direct folks to test there prior. Our biggest support is having to support users in other orgs to get them to be able to connect to a S4B. Have others found this? Would this not be a valuable tool? More time is wasted just getting people to use…

    19. Persistent chat - pChat Participants number not updated after failback

Why after a Failover and a Failback of a failed Skype for Business Pool, without any interruption on PChat Services or CMS, the pChat Participants is not correct, some users can see several participants other can see other number, the information is not updated, in some cases this could take 24 hours to be updated, only after a restart of the pChat services the participants’ information is correct updated. Is Possible update faster the Participants presence after a failback without restart the services of all PChat servers in the pool?

    20. persistent chat guests

Please allow a way for persistent chat rooms to allow off-site guests. We have a number of groups with external collaborators where it would be useful to grant communication access w/o having to create a local Lync account for them.
