    1. Create a mechanism that would periodically check and sync meetings and options between Outlook and Skype's DB

      It would be awesome if there was a mechanism that would periodically check and sync meetings and options between Outlook and Skype's DB. This would allow meeting options to be changed without Skype being open and logged in. It would also address any corruption issues in the Skype DB.

      • Restrict end meeting

        We often meet for "office hours", where all attendees are intentionally presenters, so that they can share their screens and show us their issues or ideas. Unfortunately, sometime folks click " ... | End meeting" when they leave, which closes everyone out, forcing others to rejoin.

        We would love to have a way to restrict the End Meeting function, or at least prompt someone hitting it that they are ending the meeting for everyone. (Perhaps another design choice would be to display "Name has ended the meeting", so at least we could educate them.)

          • SFB Meetings: Call Me At feature - Goes to Voicemail

            When people use the Call Me At feature and then don't answer their phone, it rolls into their Voicemail, disrupting the meeting going on.

            I understand that in some cases, all attendees should be muted, however, in collaborative meetings this isn't possible.

            Is there any future plans to add in a feature, similar to other Teleconferencing solutions, where when utilizing the Call Me At feature to join a meeting audio would prompt the user to Answer, and then select 1 or # or something, before they are connected to the meeting?

            • Ability to add non SFB participants during a meeting

              issue is to add someone to a Skype meeting that is already running. I am told the person needs to have a Skype and will need to have accepted the invitation. For users that are external and have Skype for Business they will still need to be added to your contacts. You can’t add a non-Microsoft person to a meeting in that way, they would only be able to join online using a meeting invitation. There are no settings that would need to be updated because your Skype is working as it should.

              • Audience 'laser pointer' during screen sharing

                When a Presenter screen shares... and I need to provide instant feedback - I'd like to interact with the Presenter's screen in a read-only / visual only manner... like a 'laser pointer'.
                Use case: Customer is sharing their screen and I need to direct them where to go... words can't always describe exactly where to 'click'... but a laser pointer can be a leap of an improvement.

                • There should be some notification as to who has put on hold or is trying to connect to another number

                  Its a lot of convenience when someone puts the conference call on hold and we are not able to figure out who has done that .... also if someone tries to connect someone by conferencing from thier end the IVR of the company is heard a couple of times... who did this cannot be figured out and the call has to be disconnected and another line has to be used or rescheduled.

                    Display a message when you click on the "Share Content" button to remind people that the desktop sharing features are only available if you are the current meeting presenter. It's very confusing if someone else sets up the meeting but one of the attendees is actually doing the presentation. When the attendee clicks on the share button the desktop sharing links are absent. Often the meeting organizer is not very familiar with SFB and many minutes are wasted trying to work out what is wrong.                       I think it's not a good idea to integrate Skype 4B with Teams, since each of these applications has a very particular and useful purpose. In particular I think Skype 4B although it had a slow start, and has been adopted by users of companies, universities, which have identified with it as the medium for chat, for meetings. Integrating it into an application like Teams, which is very good, would confuse these users and potentially reduce their use.

                          Indicates the maximum resolution for meeting video. Allowed values are:

                          CIF. Common Intermediate Format (CIF) has a resolution of 352 pixels by 288 pixels.

                            Currently, if you have a windows above the meeting windows, you may miss one or several people waiting in the lobby. It would be great to have a sound notification like every 20 sec when someone is waiting.

                            Another point would be to be able to view Phone number or Name of the persons in the lobby prior acception.

                              To have the ability to hide phone numbers from Attendees in the meeting workspace and participants list. This would be helpful in a multi-party presentation, where parties from multiple companies would attend. They can currently see all dial-in attendees phone numbers, which is not usually desirable.

                                I am a help desk analyst and we use Skype for Business for remote assistance.. when we access the user computer, that tab "presenting at the moment" where user can grant access to control the mouse is extremely annoying, for both sides. I think this interface can be better.

                                    The desktop that people share only fills maybe 2/3 of my screen. The rest of the screen is filled with useless icons and heading. "presentation view" only helps a little bit. It blows me away that the one thing you want in a meeting, seeing someone else's screen, is the worst feature of this system, requiring me to use scroll bars, and not utilizing most of the screen. This is extremely frustrating.

                                    • Regular office type layout, cells and columns. Matrix layout.

                                      A layout option similar to Excel type cells and columns is what I am requesting. A user can move from cell to cell to have a conversation, bigger cells for meetings, etc. Applying the usual office space metaphor to Skype for Business. Would be so helpful in achieving some sense of being in an office space for geographically dispersed teams. There are tools out there that do this, but we are trying to stay within the integrated 365 space.

                                        In the Windows Desktop version of Skype for Business, and in the Web App Skype Meetings App, trying to write and draw on the slides or whiteboard is problematic. It works fine in both the Mac Desktop and Mac Web client. Delightfully so. But no matter how much I try to turn off pen flicks in Windows 10 and earlier versions (e.g. 8.1, 8, 7), Skype for Business and the web app on Windows do not allow writing and drawing on the slides/whiteboard.                                           I wonder if a meeting would really benefit from an omni-channel experience, as the goal is to have all the people necessary in a room regardless of device/platform ~

                                          I'm writing because every time I start/join a Skype meeting it takes 30 seconds to a couple minutes depending on how and where the meeting was started/inviting. I fail to get into the correct meeting room at least once or twice, people are left in the wait room, and there are so many possible links to press. It's really frustrating; enough…

                                            Skype meetings currently default to 24 hours. Few meetings ever go from 12 am - 12 am the next day. Would like to see this default changed. A admin should be able to change this.
