Turn off email notification for missed call
It seems that when you are using a completely hosted office 365/ cloud PBX/ Skype for Business with PSTN conferencing that there is no option to disable the email notification for missed calls. Most users do not want their inbox flooded with missed call notifications and the rules of outlook will not work as they are notifications and not emails. The suggestion is to have on a user-by-user basis the ability to disable these messages.
Hi you can disable the Notifications: https://www.uc.solutions/O365/Outlook/How_to_enable%2F%2Fdisable_missed_call_notifications but be aware, that you loose the call History in Skype for Business as well.
Email notifications are super annoying especially because ALL calls and messages that I receive gets listed as missed. Please fix one problem or the other, at least!

We have a landline and a cellphone number connected to Skype. Every time I answer a call on my cellphone, I get an email saying that I have a missed call! This is very annoying since I in deed answered and finished the call. There must be a simple way to disable emails from Skype, creating a rule in Outlook does not affect theese mails..
If I answer on Skype, I get a notification on the cellphone saying that I have a missed call..

I agree. We need to have the ability to turn off the notification for missed calls. A lot of unhappy and frustrated people who can't believe it can't turned off.
Ridiculous feature. Didn't receive these messages before, but after buying a new phone, I do. Who at MS ever thought this would be a useful feature.....

Hello I'm in favor of disabling the missed call email notification. A setting where we as end-user can choose this application behaviour would be handy. My Servicedesk Co-Workers are getting a lot of questions about this.
Please make this option available to stop email notifications!!! Very frustrating to have Skype spam me.
I'm in favor of disabling the missed call email notification

We have used Flow to remove the message after it comes in, but no easy way to distribute the Flow and most of our users are not technical. Need a per-user solution for this!

I’ll add a Me Too. Just like Matt, I often don’t pick up calls and don’t return calls unless someone left a VM. So I have no use for missed call notifications. Please make the End User Setting: “Send an email message to my inbox when I miss a phone call” effective when disabled.

We REALLY need this option, actually an option to turn off missed call notifications AND missed conversation notifications. My scenario is: I'm sitting at my desk and I get a call from a telemarketer so I choose to ignore the call an continue working. Once the caller hangs up, I get a notification on my phone (that's fine), on my Skype client (fine), then one in my Outlook client (annoying- I didn't answer on purpose), then on my iPhone (jeeez - I know!), then on my connected watch (OMG!!!!!). It's like the telemarketer now gets even more power to annoy us when we don't answer the call.
I think in a scenario where i'm only getting legit calls AND any time i'm at my desk I am able to immediately answer calls, this email behavior would be fine. Meaning, i'd only get emailed when i'm away from my desk.
However, it sounds like a lot of people work like me, in that I don't respond to IMs until I complete a current task, and I don't want to talk to every person that calls my phone. And I definitely don't want to be emailed each time I choose to ignore a call or IM.
Some people don't mind the notifications at all, and that's great! But if they do bother you or constantly distract you, keeping you from focusing, you should be able to turn them off.

Yes please make this a setting!!
I have my calls ring simultaneously on Skype for Business on my phone and on my desktop. Every time I miss a call I have to dismiss 2 notifications on my phone (one for the app and one for the email). Plus I have to manually delete the email notification. A simple option to stop the email notification being generated please.
Yes same here. First thing I see is my mailbox is full of missed calls. This is of no use at all for me
