Custom invitation message template
Allow more ability to customize the template for the outlook invitation for Skype for Business meetings, especially with PSTN conferencing ability.
Would like to edit "Join Skype meeting" message for our organization. Please make it customizable.
1. We believe that all the 5 regions of our Group should appear alphabetically in the skype details without having to check on the “find a local number” and specific countries should appear as subsections under each region.
2. Another important thing is the hyperlink that appears in the invitation. It cannot be used directly from a cellphone as it takes both the telephone number and the name of the country. We would need the telephone number to be useable directly from a mobile.
(eg. +1-203-447-8839 - America -> +1-203-447-8839 – America) The hyperlink needs to be modified as well as it is done in the underligned light blue text
3. The set-up of the details are not well displayed. Also, when we copy paste them to appear in an e-mail, the layout changes.
It would look more professional in columns.
THis is a HUGE usability problem on all sides
1. Conference ID is impossible to locate and remember on the mobile phone
2. Relevant region dial in number is impossible to locate
3. It is hard to fit in agendas and context with the current structure.
This is the text what I have created as a workaround
TEL. AU. 1800692255,,907xxx# / USA. +18552846675,,907xxx# / NZ. +0800-453-323,,907xxx# UK +08082344663,,907xxx# / Other +61299163900,,907xxx#
CONF ID. 907xxxx# HOST PIN. *14xxxx# (Ben)
SKYPE. Join App Trouble? Try In Browser
Any problems text me on +6141xxxxxxx
Yeah, would be great if this could be added. Everyone hates the meeting invites and it confuses the **** out of clients. Would be nice to alter it with whatever we want and just have the Join Skype Meeting link as a template. We now just manually alter it. Giant pain in the booty.
need to add custom SIP address for the meetings, or special infos.
Definitely i'm on the same page as all of you, you certainly need to be able to customise the entire Skype invite template not just the URLS for logo and legal, this is ridiculous the most most changes of this should be able to add addtional Skype numbers that we feel are commonly used in the regions, from the Skype find my location, and then also change the text of the Trouble joining : try skype web app ? please this is not informative to users who dont have Skype For Business client, we want to simply say Join from Outside on this link and the standard link we can just change the text to Join Here for inside companyX.
Need to be able to customize microsoft this should not have to be a scripting excercise....simple you can even add a few more lines in the Skype page where the URLS are added and this would simply change the fields for phone #'s and the tags associated with the join links.

Any update on this, Microsoft? It's also not available in Teams. Other conference providers have been offering this for years.
100% need the ability to add more than one pstn dial in number and be able to customise the invite.
I agree that the template needs to be modified. I don't think users need access to create their own. I think there should be a firm template, as well as a way to add the dial-in number to Subject in iOS and Android format.
Endorsing ask for custom email body template (including access to conference ID, Host PIN, company dial-in numbers by country, and other Outlook/Skype attributes as fields I can embed)
Also voting for custom Location template for email, since iOS and Android both present this comfortably and permit simple call originate from a well-structured phone number, e.g. +1-212-555-1212,,[conference ID here]#
(Icing on the cake: differentiate templates sent to host and participants for both email body and location!)
Need to add the "number,,,invite#" format to top of meeting.
Currently on mobile devices, users need to go into Show Notes to access number info.

Is there a reason that we are forced to use the jacked up message template? It is dreadful!!! Everyone hates it yet we are still forced to use the horrible one or find a workaround. Stop the insanity and allow us to customize our message template!! Or give us a good reason why we have to use the jacked up one supplied by Microsoft. OMG. This has forced me to find a clever work around (using a signature, and "copy link" feature). It is 2018. We should not be forced to use a wretched looking, piped in message template! This ruins the corporate branding as well as makes microsoft look redneck!
This is imperative! We are having a hard time with external end user acceptance to using this platform. Being able to craft a better message would go a long way towards this important goal.

Please allow special character in number formatting with Toll Free Numbers using the Set-CsUserAcp commands, so that we can have our customized Toll Free Number instructions with Country Names, for Example : (AUS) +61-***-xxxxx etc..When we are running the command with a formatted input it is simply removing the spaces and brackets and dashes..And MS support is not allowing to modify the XML itself. Here is what commands I ran
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $UPN = "firstname.lastname@example.org"
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $provider = "ATT Conferencing"
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $tnum= "17133530212"
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $tfnum = "(USA) +1(888) 822-7517"
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $passcode = "19298"
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $URL = "https://www.teleconference.att.com/servlet/glbAccess?process=1&accessCode=" + $passcode + "&accessNumber=" + $tn
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Set-CsUserAcp -Identity $UPN -TollNumber $tnum -ParticipantPassCode $passcode -Domain "acp.att.com" -Name $provider -Toll
FreeNumbers $tfnum -Url $URL
WARNING: Automated Meeting Migration is disabled. Please enable the Meeting Migration and run the Meeting Migration command to migrate the user
When I look at the Output this is how it is stored
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Get-CsOnlineUser email@example.com | Select-Object -ExpandProperty AcpInfo

Microsoft: why do you have to take up half a page with your skype link. It needs to be minimal to allow people to add important information in the body of the meeting notice, ie. Agenda, attendees, purpose of the meeting etc. At least allow it to be customized by company administrators.
The "Join Skype Meeting" should remain the size you have it, but everything else should be condensed to font 8, max….and maybe to 4 lines, max. Single spacing … i.e.
à Join Skype Meeting
Trouble Joining? Help Try Skype Web App

Please allow Administrators to customize the Skype Meeting template from the tenant.
Please allow revision of the default Outlook -integrated message to meeting participants.
C=urrently when I send invitations it says
Join *Skype Meeting*
Trouble Joining? *Try Skype Web App*
I would prefer it to say
Outside my company *Use Skype Web App*
Inside my company use *Skype Meeting*
The message/invitation template is terrible. Too much information for our users. We need to be able to customise the template to suit our organisation.

Hi Emil, with the announcement of Teams being the new collaboration platform in O365, I doubt MSFT will be adding this type of functionality to the Skype product. Maybe they will for the upcoming Skype for Business Server vNext due out next year, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
