Develop Skype Meeting Broadcast audio options to compete with the likes of GoToMeeting and Zoom
We deployed Office365 and Skype for Business in 2015, and while the Office apps have seen continuous improvement, the Skype features, most notably the Skype Meeting Broadcast, have been dying on the vine. My organization has invested in multiple Skype Rooms and has a geographically diverse workforce, but we've been struggling to present all-hands meetings and webinars due to the inability to integrate with users who, through whatever reason, need to use telephone audio. GoToMeeting and Zoom have the option of having a user call into the meeting or even have the meeting call the individual attendee. Now my organization…

Provide Statistics for Skype Meeting Broadcast
There seems to be no Skype Meeting Broadcast Statistics anywhere in the platform either in any summary screens or within Portal.office.com
Such stats that I would need are:
- Number of users who logged in and watched
- The connection quality for users across the meeting
- How many stayed for the whole meeting

Automatically open persistent chats when starting Skype
The chat window/tab for Skype persistent chats should also persist. :-) Automatically open persistent chats when starting Skype. Initially, I would automatically open persistent chats that are "followed".

Admins need to see all Broadcast Meetings Scheduled
Is there a way for admins to log in to the Broadcast Portal to see any and all Broadcast Meetings scheduled by anyone at our company?

Allow SurfaceHubs and Skype Room System v2 to be invited to a broadcast meeting
We are equipping all rooms with these items, while a surface hub can join in the browser it's awkward, and SRS v2 can't join. Allow us to add an item to the calendar with a broadcast link then open the video directly when we press the join button.
This would greatly enhance our company wide broadcast meetings, and allow us to replace an Exterity system.69 votes -
Allow to manage the size of the preview window in Skype Room System v2 Single Monitor Mode
The local preview window in Skype Room System is way too small in a Single Monitor configuration. It looks as if the pixel size is set, so that it would be larger on a smaller monitor. we run a 75" monitor and it is mostly unusable. I could not find anything in setup or documentation, or XML settings to affect the preview window size/location.

Integrate the Q&A into the Skype client for presenters
For presenters who only have one screen (ie off a laptop) it would be great to have Q&A integrated into the S4B application, so they dont have to switch out to the Broadcast website to check & answer questions, before changing back to the S4B presentation.

Provide video (Youtube/avi/mp4) support for presenters
Presenters often want to play a short video clip (often Youtube, sometimes a stand alone avi/mp4) in their presentation. Please add support for broadcasting video to the audience.

Add ability to record attendee names, even in anonymous meetings
The attendee list is not known at the time of broadcast setup. The link will be distributed by a team / users may forward inside their organization. This implies the meeting will be setup as "anonymous". However, we need to record who attended. Thus need to have a way for users to logon and state their name, similar to what we had in Live Meeting 2007. An easy option will be to require registration for the event - but with an easy process. For instance - organizer sets up meeting and choose "user registration" as an option instead of anonymous…

Additional layout options
Having just tried out broadcast for one of our all hands meetings initial feedback was very positive. The biggest single feedback item was layout of video and content. If you have a good speaker them the presentation should serve as an aid and not be front and centre. An additional layout option to show a large video feed with smaller presentation content would address this limitation.

Broadcast delay
We are an Office 365 client with no on-premise Skype for Business architecture. We are seeing 30 second delays with the broadcast, regardless of the bandwidth and connectivity. This is a critical limitation to any kind of interactive capability during a broadcast meeting.

Control who can create Broadcast events
Hello,
Actually without any customization, if you activate SfB Meeting Broadcast then all users of the tenant can organize a broadcast event without any control. It can induce big network problems if some users organize difference meeting at the same time.
O365 support give me a workaround using the following powershell command:
Grant-CsBroadcastMeetingPolicy -Identity SIP Address –PolicyName Tag:BroadcastMeetingPolicyDisabled
but as it is on user basis you need to schedule a script to disable on all new users.
It should be more convenient to have the ability to assign a group of even better to consider this service as an additional…9 votes -
Need to see the number of anonymous attendees in the broadcast console
In Skype Meeting Broadcast you have no way to tell if there is a live audience (anonymous sign in) so it feels like you are talking to yourself

SIP and UPN differences
In order to create a broadcast, the user's SIP and UPN must be the same, can this be changed so that the user SIP and UPN can be different?

Add broadcast to calendar
When a meeting is created, automatically update the organizer's and event team members' Outlook calendar with the broadcast date, time, duration, and hyperlink. An option to send calendar invites to the attendees (for broadcasts without anonymous access) would be nice as well.
